The Greenwood Beat WFPG is Tulsa’s latest urban radio station broadcasting 24/7. The station broadcasts old-school R&B, soul, funk, blues, jazz, and gospel music. Station also has a few radio talk shows such as the anchor syndicated “Refocused and Informed Radio Talk Show” hosted by the station owners, Angela K. Chambers, and Francetta L. The Saturday Morning Clean Up Jam Session with Angela K. Chambers KICKED OFF today at 8:00 AM CST on The Greenwood Beat – WFPG. Motivated by childhood memories of Saturday cleaning days, Angela created the show. The first show was dedicated to some of her MacTown (McAlester, Oklahoma) friends including one of her big sisters, Wilma Phifer Bennett. Angela shared how she used to “Be a thorn in my sister’s side and would be hanging out with her sister’s friends. Now it’s ‘cool’ to have them as friends.” SHOUT OUT to Phil Bryson, Wilma Phifer Bennett, Kevin Rushing, LaTrese Colbert, Angie Kirk, Bill Patterson, Ervan Rushing, Terri Watkins, Eric Clayton, Kim Boxley Austin, Angela Curtis Prince, Kerry Smith, and Eric Black.
