📅 Saturday, August 30, 2025

🕖 7:00 PM

📍 Historic Greenwood Courtyard – 100 Block of North Greenwood Avenue, Tulsa, OK

🎟️ Free and Open to the Public (Bring your lawn chairs)

This dynamic cultural gathering is designed to uplift the voices of Black creatives, celebrate community storytelling, and provide a cinematic experience rooted in heritage and

authenticity — right in the heart of the original Black Wall Street.

Curated to inspire and engage, the event offers attendees a unique opportunity to experience storytelling through a Black lens — highlighting themes of resilience, creativity, family, and legacy.

This is more than film — it’s a moment to celebrate who we are, where we’ve come from, and where we’re headed,” says Dr. Angela K. Chambers, Founder & CEO of The Greenwood Beat – WFPG. “We’re bringing Black excellence to the big screen, right on sacred ground.”

The Black Lens Collection is free to attend, family-friendly, and will feature select short films between 15–20 minutes in length, including award-winning entries and rising voices in Black cinema. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfort and community.
