Tulsa, OK – The Greenwood Beat – WFPG, Oklahoma’s first woman-owned and first-ever radio station on historic Greenwood Avenue, is proud to announce a soul-stirring Juneteenth Poetry Showcase hosted by Minister Antonio McGlothin, Sr. This special broadcast will air on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, as a tribute to freedom, expression, and the undeniable resilience of Tulsa’s historic Greenwood Business District—aka the original Black Wall Street.
Submissions for the showcase have arrived from across the country, including California and Texas, adding a national spotlight to this meaningful event. The showcase serves as a creative call to reflect on “What Freedom Means to You”, and is presented in partnership with HopeHop Multimedia Podcast, which proudly brings the #1 Morning Show to The Greenwood Beat – WFPG listeners!
