Buying Time on Greenwood: Showcasing Local Black-Owned Products

Everyone is buzzing about the original Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma’s historic Greenwood District, especially during Black History Month. The anticipation is growing for the opening of Buying Time on Greenwood, a curated antique store located on the iconic Greenwood Avenue, also known as the original Black Wall Street.

Buying Time on Greenwood will offer a wide range of products, including antiques, artwork inspired by the area, gifts, apparel, and most notably, locally black-owned products. One such product is the Roots Skincare Collection, created by businesswoman Katina Walker. The collection, which includes body scrubs, oils, and lotions, has become highly sought-after not only in the Tulsa Metro area but also beyond. Visitors to Buying Time on Greenwood will have the opportunity to explore and purchase this popular collection.

The store is scheduled to open its doors on Thursday, February 8th at 1:00 PM CST. To celebrate the grand opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on February 15, 2024, organized by Starr Fisher.
