A best-selling, award-winning author turned playwright, Rogers is once again captivating audiences with her groundbreaking production, “I Broke Out of Prison,” based on her powerful true story. The stage adaptation premieres July 1–3, 2025, at the Black Box Theatre at Wompa in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rogers has been a consistent and passionate voice on The Greenwood Beat – WFPG, Oklahoma’s first woman-owned and first-ever radio station on historic Greenwood Avenue. Her commercials, which continue to air on the station, resonate deeply with listeners for their transparency and soul-stirring message.
