During the rally, riders will embark on a tour of a few of the Black towns in Oklahoma showcasing the history and their beauty. The ride is not only an opportunity to enjoy the open road, but also a chance to reflect on the importance of unity and solidarity.

In addition to the ride, the rally features various activities and events. There will be live music performances, food vendors, and exhibitions.

One of the highlights of the rally will be the Community Peace Rally is guest speakers who will share their experiences, insights and inspiration for bringing the community together. These speakers include young and the elder men in the community, as well as leaders in the fight for social justice and equality. Their words will inspire, motivate and encourage the attendees to continue making a difference in their communities.

The Power of Praying for Your Enemies

For the past 21 days, we have been participating in the “Pray for your Enemies” led by Angela K. Chambers, the founder and CEO of The Greenwood Beat – WFPG. This challenge has truly been a transformative experience, the power of praying for those who have hurt you is rewarding.

Throughout the challenge, we have been encouraged to pray for various aspects of our enemies’ lives. We have prayed for their joy, their soul, their success, their family, and even their businesses. These prayers have been filled with genuine love and compassion, and we have seen the goodness of God move in our own lives as a result.

Many participants have shared their testimonies, expressing how unresolved issues have been resolved through this challenge. One person who accepted the challenge shared, “I appreciated the reminder. The more I prayed, the less I desired revenge.” This statement resonated with me deeply, as I too experienced a shift in my perspective towards my enemies.

Praying for compassion for my enemies gave me a different perspective on the issues and challenges they face. It allowed me to see beyond their hurtful actions and understand that they too are human beings with their own struggles. This challenge has truly opened my eyes and given me a greater awareness of the complexities of human relationships.

One participant shared, “I have NEVER prayed for anyone that did not like me. This was a great experience and challenge. It has helped me with my journey with God and being obedient.” This sentiment is echoed by many others who have taken part in the challenge. Praying for our enemies is not an easy task, but it is a powerful act of obedience that can lead to profound personal growth.

Throughout the 21 days, each daily topic or focus has allowed me to reflect on specific situations and areas where I can pray for my enemies. It has given me a framework to approach my prayers with intentionality and purpose. I am incredibly grateful to have found this challenge and the support of Angela K. Chambers LLC.

If you are interested in joining the challenge or learning more about Angela and her work, I encourage you to connect with her on Facebook and check out The Greenwood Beat – WFPG’s YouTube channel for inspiration. You can also reach out to Angela directly for prayers at prayers@thegreenwoodbeat.com or angela@thegreenwoodbeat.com.
