The Juneteenth Poetry Showcase hosted by Mr. Antonio McGlothin, Sr., Station Manager of The Greenwood Beat – WFPG, will officially air at 12:00 PM CST on Thursday, June 19, 2025, live at www.thegreenwoodbeat.com.

Submissions are now closed, and the lineup is powerful. This year’s showcase features dynamic poets and spoken word artists from as far as California and Texas, bringing the fire, reflection, and freedom-centered energy Juneteenth deserves.

From the underground stages to national platforms, these voices come together to uplift, honor, and echo the soul of Greenwood—one verse at a time.
